I talk too much

Hey! If you haven't met me before let me introduce myself: I am Chay (that's short for Chaynah and if you can't pronounce that it is completely okay. I've met few who upon first seeing my name are able to say it correctly).

I can be quiet and pensive in social situations. But most often I talk too much, laugh too loud, and am basically a clown. I will make an utter ass of myself to see those around me relaxed and enjoying themselves.

I used to be self-conscious about this. I used to permit myself to feel anxiety over being different - and try to tamp down those qualities that made me stand out. I thought these were character flaws. They can be on occasion. But for the most part it is just the way I'm wired. I'm chatty. I'm curious. And as much as I am able, I desire nothing more than to help others, to bring joy to others. So I talk. And laugh. To draw others out. To put others at ease. To share experiences.

To do life with those around me.

If you have met me before then you can probably vouch for all of the above.

So here we are. Acquainted. Now what? Well, now I want to share all of my chattiness with you because I have much to share. I'll do my best to keep it on the topic of wellness. But don't be fooled -I believe in holistic wellness. I believe that wellness is found in every aspect of life; not simply diet and exercise.

So I would be thrilled if you would join me from time to time and engage in conversation with me about wellness. Diet and exercise too! But also: relationships and parenting, interests and dreams, habits and vices.

Thank you for coming! I am genuinely shocked (but very happy) that you're here.
